How is TCC different from other
childcare centers in the area?

- We are locally owned and operated. Melissa is both the director and the owner. She also lives just minutes from the center. We are not part of a larger corporation or franchise, so decisions can be made to fit the needs of the population.
- We have Ohio's Step Up to Quality 2-Star designation.
- The focus of The Children's Center is on the development of each individual child. Therefore, most of the experiences your child has will not be directed at the whole group, but tailored to meet individual learning styles.
- We emphasize intellectual not just academic education. This means your child will learn to analyze, evaluate, and problem solve, not just memorization of data. All learning is put into an interesting and meaningful context.
- The family atmosphere is designed to be certain each child and family experiences the unique and wonderful time called childhood. TCC strives to offer a homelike atmosphere, not an institutional setting.
